1. Who we are

Katie Chambers, trading as Lufli (“Lufli”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and the Lufli waitlist and funnel pages.

2. How to contact us

For any question about this policy or your personal data, email office@lufli.co.uk.

3. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with Lufli before launch, we may collect:

  • Your email address, so we can tell you when Lufli opens near you
  • Age band, gender and who you’d like to meet
  • Your postcode district only (e.g. “TN1”) — we never ask for or store your full postcode or home address
  • Your consent choices and when you made them
  • The page and campaign link you joined from

If you take the “non-negotiables” quiz, the three choices you pick and your result are stored separately from any email address and are never linked to your identity.

4. How we use your information

  • To let you know when Lufli opens in your area
  • To decide where to launch first
  • To send you the updates you’ve opted in to
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations

We rely on your consent as the legal basis for contacting you, and never sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Who we share it with

We may share personal data with service providers who help us run this website and send communications on our behalf, bound by their own confidentiality and data protection obligations, or where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

6. Where your data is processed

Hosting and infrastructure provider details are available on request by emailing office@lufli.co.uk.

7. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy and in line with applicable law.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Ask us to delete your data
  • Ask us to provide a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email office@lufli.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

9. Children’s privacy

Lufli is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
